Mason Bee Cocoons

Osmia lignaria propinqua.

Mason bees are gentle, solitary, non-stinging native pollinators that help improve fruit and flower production. Each box contains 10 dormant cocoons, ready to emerge when spring arrives.

Care Instructions

Store cocoons in the refrigerator upon arrival. Prepare clean nesting tubes and a bee house over winter. In early spring, about one week before your crops begin to bloom, place the cocoons on or near the nesting site. Bees may emerge over several hours or days, with males emerging first.
