Celosia plumosa. Knock out visual impact for this Celosia bearing all summer long its deep "red flames" flowers on dark green to bronze foliage. The leaves turn from dark green to bronze as the season progresses. Bred in Hungary, China Town is a Fleuroselect Award Winner. Height to 35cm (14") so it's ideal for containers and patio gardens. Start China Town Celosia seeds indoors in peat pots 6-8 weeks before last frost, or simply direct sow after last frost. Grow in full sun to light shade, and keep soil moist, especially during hot weather. The 7-15cm (3-6") tall inflorescences make excellent, long lasting cut flowers.
