Exceeded every expectation by a wide margin.

My enviro-lawn is lush, low maintenance and grew fully in faster than expected. I sowed it at the end of march/early April. My enviro-lawn has looked finished for at least a month. I wasn't expected a complete transformation of ground that had been ruined by piles of mulch. Extremely low maintenance, especially relative to our very large, traditional lawn in other parts of the property. Germination rate is very high, covered very large areas for the price.

Product Details

Envirolawn is a mix of low-maintenance grasses, clover, and drought-tolerant phacelia. It is a creative alternative to the standard grass lawn if mowed consistently, or if left to flourish all season, it makes a pollinator-friendly meadow, growing 2-3 feet tall with blooms during the summer. Mix with Alternative Lawn wildflower mix seeds to expand on the flowering aspect - or vice versa. This mix can also be used to add bulk to the Alternative Lawn blend. In especially wet springs, we recommend spreading additional Tall Fescue and/or Perennial Ryegrass to ensure proper coverage and germination. Additionally, delay planting in periods of prolonged rain.
