Sundance Commons, an agricultural non-profit dedicated to supporting new and aspiring farmers in southwestern Ontario. Here's an article that speaks a bit about our work, "Making it Happen: Accessible and Sustainable Agriculture with Sundance Commons."

We operate at four farm incubation locations, providing the tools, guidance and land access needed for individuals facing barriers to entry in the agricultural sector at no cost to them. Our mission is to create a regenerative, food-secure world where the equity and agency of farm workers are at the center.

Through our Learn – Farm Incubator and New Farmer Training Programs, we support new farmers by offering educational components, the tools to enhance productivity and access to fair markets.

We started as we saw a lack of training and incubation programs within our region. Our board reflects the members we serve as our incubator members "Farmer Members" largely reflect that.

We support well over 220 people each year through our New Farmer Training Program, workshops, Community Field Days and our Farmer Member Incubation program.

To provide accessible training, land and equipment access for new farmers who face barriers in the agricultural sector.

We believe growing food in community whether that be through our incubation or training programs or even in general, is a important part of feeling grounded and closer connected to one's food.
